The secret ingredients lie in the ginger, garlic and scallion combination that heighten the flavour and taste of the chicken. B enjoys this so much that he has requested for this dish again next week.

Ingredients
10 chicken wings
1 small piece ginger, minced
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 stalks scallion, cut into rings
1 tbsp cooking oil
1/2 tsp salt

Marinade
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp rice wine
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp ground ginger

Method
Marinate chicken wings with seasonings for at least 2 hours in the fridge.

Steam chicken on plate or a steamer basket, covered, for about 12 minutes over medium-high heat.

Meanwhile, heat oil in a pan and sauté garlic and ginger for 3 minutes till fragrant. Add salt and turn off heat before adding scallion. Mix all ingredients well.

Remove chicken from steamer. Pour the garlic, ginger and scallion mixture over the chicken.
