Sakura さくら

Located in the heart of the city along Pitt Street (very near my office), this small eatery serves Japanese cuisine at reasonable prices. Service at Sakura is prompt and friendly. The small space with a set-up of only 7-8 tables adds to the casual, relaxing yet authentic Japanese feel.

Salmon Sashimi Don - A$10.90
.
Well presented salmon sashimi topped on sushi rice, served with salad, seaweed and miso soup. The salmon is nice and fresh and we absolutely love the sushi rice. The dressing on the salad is wonderfully sweet with a slight vinegarette taste, it really set the salad off!

Buda Shogayaki Set - A$9.90

Pan-fried sliced pork with spicy ginger sauce, served with salad, rice and miso soup. The pork slices are tender and juicy, blending well with the ginger sauce with a light burst of spiciness. Luscious! We will definitely go back to Sakura again in the near future.
