Stir-fried okra 虾米秋葵

Ingredients
200g of okra, trim ends and sliced diagonally
1 tbsp dried shrimps, pre-soaked and coarsely chopped
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 tbsp chili paste
2 tbsp cooking oil
Sugar to taste
Salt to taste


Method
Heat oil in wok and saute dried shrimps and garlic till fragrant. Add the sliced okras, toss and stir fry for about 5 minutes or till soft.

Add chili paste, dash in some salt and sugar. Stir fry briefly and sprinkle some water to prevent burning.

Dish and serve.
