Mongolian Lamb Stir-fry 蒙古羊肉
Ingredients
400g lean lamb fillet, cut into strips
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 onion, thinly sliced
2 chili, thinly sliced
1 tbsp grated ginger
3 tbsp BBQ sauce
1 tbsp sherry
1 head broccoli, cut
1 green capsicum, thinly sliced
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp water
1 tbsp corn flour
2 tbsp oil
Method
Marinate lamb strips with 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp BBQ sauce and corn flour for 30 minutes.
Heat oil in pan, saute onion, ginger and garlic till fragrant. Add lamb, sherry and remaining BBQ sauce. Stir-fry lamb for about 4 minutes till almost cooked. Add vegetables and stir fry for another 5 minutes. Splash in a little water if it gets too dry.
Dish and serve with steamed rice.
